James is probably best known for his role as Raven in the multi-BAFTA Award-winning CBBC series of the same name. 

Television credits include Gary Trenton in BBC Scotland continuing drama River City, guest appearances in Still Game (BBC Scotland), and Outlander (Sony/Starz), and he has been introduced to a whole new generation, as James in the smash hit CBeebies series Molly and Mack.  

His stage work has taken him all over the UK in everything from Macbeth to Sunshine On Leith the Musical with companies such as Dundee Rep, The National Theatre of Scotland, Royal Lyceum Theatre, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Mull Theatre, Traverse, Theatre, and Stellar Quines. 

He has also had the immense privilege of being part of the CBeebies Christmas shows for the last few years and the incredible honour of performing on stage at the Globe for CBeebies Shakespeare.
